Va Tech's Justin Robinson battles Alabama's Colin Sexton

The Virginia Tech Hokies limped into the NCAA basketball tournament having choked against Notre Dame in the ACC tournament. The Hokies blew a 21-point lead in the second half and the Shock Exchange doesn’t remember point guard Justin Robinson even making an entry pass.

Va. Tech actually ran a real offense against Alabama. They were up by only two points at halftime despite holding Alabama’s stud point guard Colin Sexton to only 3 points. He hung 22 on Tech in the second half which was a major factor in the Crimson Tide’s 86-83 win. The second factor was freshman John Petty who hung 20 points on Tech after going 6-8 from 3-point range.
