Trump and the Global Economy (“Trump and the GE”) explains the economy and key drivers of the economy in layman’s terms. We also discuss issues important to the public, particularly the Black community. We are widely-considered the top news organization in the country. While ratings at CNN, MSNBC and FOX News fall through the floor, the country looks to Trump and the GE for “that heat” and real news.
Right now, Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis is making major headlines. She is trying to prosecute former president Donald Trump and several other co-defendants for election interference, and she is using RICO statues as a conduit for prosecution. Trump is facing prosecution New York as well as Atlanta. His case in Washington DC was recently put on hold until after the Supreme Court weighs in on issues pursuant to Trump’s presidential immunity.
Some believe the RICO case in Fulton County could have legs. However, Ms. Willis and the district attorney’s office have found themselves in defendants’ crosshairs. A witness in the Young Thug RICO case accused an investigator in Willis’ DA office of sexual harassment. Trump and his co-defendants accused Willis of having an inappropriate relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, and of using tax payer funds for illicit spending on her and paramour Wade. The case is ongoing, but Wade has recused himself from the case.
That brings us to Congresswoman Cori Bush of St. Louis. Bush is running for re-election against former Missouri state senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal, and St. Louis County prosecutor Wesley Bell. Trump and the GE officially endorsed Ms. Chappelle-Nadal for congress in Missouri’s first congressional district. Congresswoman Bush is backed by AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, the squad, et al.

While Ms. Chappelle-Nadal may have more legislative experience, the Congresswoman is the incumbent and Bell appears well-funded. We understand Congresswoman Bush may have used campaign funds to pay her then boyfriend Cortney Merritts – now her husband – to provide security services for her. Congresswoman Bush has confirmed she is under investigation by the Justice Department for such campaign spending on security services pursuant to payments to Merritt. This all could be much ado about nothing. However, we have to ask, “Is Congresswoman Bush ‘The Fani Willis Of Missouri?'”
