Trump is facing prosecution New York as well as Atlanta. His case in Washington DC was recently put on hold until after the Supreme Court weighs in on issues pursuant to Trump’s presidential immunity.
Meanwhile, Willis continues to seek prosecution in Georgia. Trump’s co-defendant, Michael Roman, accused Willis of having an inappropriate relationship with Trump special prosecutor Nathan Wade. Did Wade take Ms. Willis on fancy trips to Napa Valley and Florida, and on a cruise? Did Wade use the nearly $1 million in legal fees paid by Willis’ office to fund those trips and did Willis benefit directly. Did Wade coordinate his prosecution of Trump with the Biden administration. There are a plethora of scenarios and outcomes, depending on how Willis and Wade respond to these allegations, and how the judge handles it.
Ms. Willis responded to the Black congregation at Big Bethel AME church on Sunday. During her sermon, Willis clapped back at Trump and the GE, who has covered the developments in the case with a tremendous amount of detail. The fact pattern suggests Ms. Willis just went rogue.
