Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis’s investigation into former President Trump’s alleged election fraud has garnered national attention. It is one of several investigations into Trump’s activities ranging from alleged business fraud to tax evasion to starting the insurrection of January 6, 2001. What won’t the democrats blame trump for? Fani Willis’s investigation has seemingly taken an odd turn. Trump’s co-defendant Michael Roman has accused her of having a romantic involvement with the special prosecutor on the case, Nathan Wade, which could be considered a conflict of interest.

The defendants and members of the republican party in Georgia have implied that Wade is unqualified to prosecute a federal case of this magnitude and/or Willis’s judgment and impartiality have been compromised. Therefore, the case should be thrown out. Now, Gary Ziegler of the Marco Polo non-profit site has implied the Biden administration may have coordinated its efforts with Wade to prosecute Trump.

Ziegler: I think this is the biggest smoking gun out of this particular persecution of DJT yet. The fact that this guy put on the invoices, “The White House.” There is not interpretation of this. They [White House] are involved … Athens has a U.S. Attorneys office, so we know where it went down … You made a great point about Wade having no experience. This guy works car accidents … He has no business even spelling out the acronym of “RICO.” This guy has no clue what he’s doing. We’re not only getting fleeced for their trips to the Caribbean on the Royal Cruise Line. We’re getting somebody who has absolutely no business being there. This is shaping up to be sociologically fascinating.

This appears to be turning into a soap opera. At a minimum it could muddy the waters and delay any trial proceedings.
