The Golden State Warriors are absolute trash. They are 10-13 so far this year and in 11th place in the Western Conference. At this stage they wouldn’t make the playoffs, which is hard to do since the NBA has expanded the playoffs to accommodate 10 years. However, they are making headlines. Last night Draymond Green was battling for position with Jusuf Nurkic of the Denver Nuggets. When Nurkic pushed him off his position, “Dirty Dray” turned around and sucker punched him:

Nurkic fell to the floor, obviously, and Dirty Dray was ejected from the game. Nurkic had this to say after the game:

Nurkic: Personally, I feel like that brother needs help. I’m glad he didn’t try to choke me. At the same time, it had nothing to do with basketball man. I’m just out there trying to play basketball … They’re swinging. We’ve seen this often. Hope he, whatever he’s got in his life I hope it gets better.

This incident comes after Dirty Dray choked Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert in November. The choking incident came amid a dust up between Klay Thompson and Jaden McDaniels. Dirty Dray purposely escalated the incident so he could choke Gobert and make it look “incidental.” It’s bad enough he went at Cornbread Maxwell a few years ago after Cornbread checked him.

Dirty Dray 6’6″ and weighs about 230 pounds. He used to play tight end for he Michigan State Spartans. He understands leverage and how to use his body to hurt people. He averages less than 10 points and six rebounds. He simply is not good enough to “accidentally sucker punch” people. Adam Silver should suspend him for 82 games and be done with it.
