Ralph Baker, Maria Chappelle-Nadal, Professor Lance Brofman

We had our fifth installment of Trump And The Global Economy (“Trump And The GE”) took place Thursday night and it was a mood. No way were we prepared for the quality of the conversations, or their intensity. the First of all, the event was headlined by Missouri State Representative Maria Chappelle-Nadal … yes, that Maria Chappelle-Nadal who stood tall for all of Ferguson during the riots there a few years ago. She was in full effect Thursday. Second, the theme was “Taking A Knee.” Ms. Chappelle-Nadal, Professor Lance Brofman and Ralph Baker (author of “Shock Exchange”) pared through everything from the weakness of the U.S. economy to why athletes take a knee to why President Trump is attacking those vehemently.

We did not shy away from any of the important issues of the day. These conversations over race, gender, the economy, the statues, etc. – these conversations simply are not taking place in the mainstream media. Secondly, Trump And The GE brings together professionals on the front lines who can actually explain these issues to the public. Business is about being involved with people who believe what you believe. Each of the panelists told their truth and pulled no punches, with no agenda or political affiliations in mind. Watch for video footage of the event on YouTube at Trump And The GE over next few days.

  2. NOPE! Question now is how quickly can we VOTE OUT the people who are trying to create a recession in America instead of A) celebrating the HUGE recovery we’ve already seen these last 2.5 years and B) doing REAL work… REAL legislation that HELPS America STAY strong (like funding a border wall for starters).

    • David,

The panel includes experts on the economy. Trump And The GE presents the facts and makes presents about where the economy is headed based on previous recessions. This is the panel everyone is studying and reacting to. President Trump, CNBC, Paul Krugman, Lawrence Summers all look to Trump And The GE on data pursuant to the next recession.
