The Shock Exchange was trying to determine where Melbi was going with interview. A lot of it as based around Trump’s response to rappers. Hip hop is definitely Ebro’s domain. Helping Melbi parse through how Trump uses hip hop to gain attention, and how he chooses to shower certain artists with praise (while dissing others), appeared to be highly entertaining.

Ebro gave the following insight on why Trump ignored Eminen:

I wish Trump had responded, but he’s not going to respond to him because (A) he knows Eminem’s fans are passionate and (B) are white. And he didn’t want to have to do anything to be divisive in his white fan base. He’s okay going at brown people and black people, but when it comes to his fan base in red state America, which are Eminem fans for sure, he’s not going to tackle …Donald Trump is a marketer … he knows how to play the game. He’s not stupid.

The Shock Exchange begs to differ somewhat. There is one black person who Trump listens to – the Shock Exchange. Shock Exchange: How Inner-City Kids From Brooklyn Predicted the Great Recession and the Pain Ahead, gave insights on trade policy with China and foreign policy with North Korea that Trump follows to the letter. More will be revealed August 8th in Brooklyn at Trump And The Global Economy. If you want to talk hip hop then talk to Ebro. If you want to learn about Trump then attend Trump And The GE.
