The video shows blood splattered all over the window, floors and walls. Jones is currently being held in the medical ward of L.A. County Jail. The Bills released a statement shortly after the video was relased:
“We are aware of the incident involving Zay Jones. We are still in the process of gathering more information on the matter. At this point, we will have no further comment,” the statement reads.
Jones was drafted by the Bills in the second round in 2017 out of East Carolina where he set an FBS record for career catches with 399. Several football purests were pulling for the young man, especially given the fact he did not come from a big time football program. Jones proved that if you can play the NFL will find you. The 22-year-old receiver, finished his rookie year with the Bills with only 27 receptions for 316 yards and two touchdowns. Keep reading to see the video.
