Edward Hill was named president of the consumer and marketplace division. He could potentially assume some of Edwards’s responsibilities. Nonetheless, Edwards is no longer with Nike, he will not become the CEO, workplace misconduct is not welcomed at Nike and current CEO Mark Parker has not expressed any interest in retiring. It’s all as clear as mud.
This is the wrong time to participate in any workplace misconduct. Womens’ “Me Too” movement has taken down the likes of Bill Cosby, Russell Simmons, Woody Allen, John Conyers, Harvey Weinstein … the list goes on. If a woman wants to date you, she can come to your crib and leave her pocketbook so she’ll have an excuse to come back. You don’t have to force the issue.
