The conversation was phenomenal and we delivered a lot of good content about the spike in drug overdose deaths and what is causing it, and how public policy could potentially help. Dr. Jay Joshi, Dr. William, Torian Mitchell and the Shock Exchange went covered several bases from the a medical perspective, legal perspective and what the so-called “opioid crisis” meant to families, pain patients, activists, the public and certain publicly-traded stocks. People are making so much money from the “opioid crisis” that there appears to be a profit incentive to keep it going.
