Apparently, Lawson and Knowles were on Oprah’s OWN TV to discuss black love. Tina described her elation in finding love again, yet sneak dissed Lawson in the process.

Tina Knowles: I prayed for the type of man I wanted and I pretty much that. Is he perfect? Absolutely not.

Richard Lawson: No?

Tina Knowles: But he has a lot of qualities that I love and we’re having a real good time and I’m enjoying life, so there is hope women.

Tina’s body language came across as if she was “reading” him and putting him in his place. This all happened on screen, mind you. The look on Lawson’s face told it all. He look hurt, disgusted and barely able to hold back his emotion in public. He wanted to look dignified, but Tina was making it difficult.

While the disrespect caught Lawson by surprise, Tina knew exactly what she was doing. She was living today’s black woman’s dream – emasculating her man in public. Then if Lawson ever claps back – he doesn’t seem like the type to do such a thing – Tina will undoubtedly run to the media, other black women, her lawyer, the cops, etc. to play the victim.
