Unfortunately President Carter’s schedule would not permit him to be in Brooklyn on November 7th. It is unfortunate. In a time of chaos like the country is experiencing we need a man with experience, a statesman who can size up the matter and lead us forward. Carter is the last president I truly admired. He led the country through rising unemployment and inflation, an aggressive OPEC, the Iranian hostage affair and runaway oil prices.
Perhaps Carter’s finest moment was broker a peace treaty between Egypt’s Anwar Sadat and Israel’s Menachem Begin. We country needs that unmatched diplomacy. Trump And The GE needs that diplomacy …
