There was a mass shooting at an EA Madden Sports NFL 19 video game tournament in Jacksonsville, FL Sunday afternoon. It occurred in the downtown area of the center known for its waterfront and shopping area. The Madden NFL tournament was broadcast via live stream on Twitch. In the live stream video you can hear participants say:
A lot of good games going on today. It’s going to be hard to get them on stream. It’s a tough out … it’s not an easy out.
I understand there was one suspect and that suspect is now dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. I understand there are at least 11 people wounded. That suspect has been identified as 24 year-old David Katz:

The motive for the shooting is unknown. Some suggest he may have become disgruntled after losing a game in the tournament.
