Jemele Hill, the ESPN commentator who has made controversial comments about President Trump, is leaving the sports network, according to reports.

A buyout of her reported $2.5 million-per-year contract has been completed and her last day will be Friday, sources told theĀ New York Post.

The separation was due to Hill’s desire to be involved in politics, while ESPN wants to be apolitical, the Post reported.

Milllennials have been cutting the cord, which has caused ESPN to lose subscribers and revenue. This has also put a dent into parent company Disney’s earnings. ESPN has tried to compensate by laying off employees, including popular on-air talent.
