According to a Brooklyn resident named Justin – who lives in a mobile home community near the cornfields where Mollie’s body was discovered – he believes Rivera followed his fiancee in a black car.
“He followed my girlfriend twice – in the same exact black Malibu,” Justin told Radar from his Iowa home. “I remember her calling me when she noticed how slow he was driving by in circles, turning around the block to keep up with her several times on her walk home.” “I vividly remember one day, it was around sunset or just after, my fiancée called because she was scared.”
Justin added that Rivera drove past his fiancee about six times as she was coming home from grocery shopping. Maybe Mollie wasn’t Rivera’s only victim. President Donald Trump blamed the murder on the lacking U.S. immigration system. At a minimum, the saga could spill over into the mid-term elections and stronger immigration laws could become a deciding factor in who gets elected this year.
