The ultimate outsider who had to fight for respectability in Manhattan never backs away from a challenge. LeBron James interviewed with CNN’s Don Lemon to discuss his I PROMISE school in Akron, OH. He also took the opportunity to call out Trump, which got an immediate response. Trump challenged the IQs of both LeBron and CNN commentator Don Lemon:

LeBron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made LeBron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!

You knew it wouldn’t be long before actors and other athletes came to LeBron’s defense. Michael Rapaport’s response to the president was particularly harsh. Rapaport appeared in the iconic film, Higher Learning, directed by John Singleton. The movie included Omar Epps, and was supposed to include Tupac before his legal woes materialized.
