Michael Rapaport pressed Michael Jordan to check President Trump in his tete-a-tete with LeBron James and CNN’s Don Lemon. Jordan must have heard him because he responded immediately. Not only did he side with The Kang but Jordan commended him on being a valuable part of his community:
Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan’s official statement, via spokesperson, in wake of Donald Trump tweet referencing him and LeBron James: “I support LJ. He’s doing an amazing job for his community.”

Trump previously invoked Jordan’s name in his clap back of LeBron over his Don Lemon interview on CNN:
Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!

Trump tried the oldest trick in the book – when you diss someone, also talk someone else up at the same time. In saying, “I like Mike!” Trump was implying Jordan was the greatest basketball player of all time. This could be the latest salvo in the never-ending LeBron v. MJ debate. For now, Jordan has ended any speculation on where he stands in the tete-a-tete. The question remains, “Will Jordan be in attendance when Trump and LeBron shoot the one-on-one at Trump And The GE Wednesday August 8th in Brooklyn?”
