Last year Camping World expanded into outdoor sports and retail via the acquisition of Gander Mountain, which specializes in hunting, camping, fishing, shooting sports, and outdoor markets. It acquired Overton’s marine and watersports business out of bankruptcy. The company also acquired brands specializing in biking, skateboarding, sailboarding, wakeboarding and outdoor gear.

Revenue Is Rising By Double-Digits …

Camping World is benefiting from white hot RV industry shipments. Last quarter the company’s revenue of $1.4 billion was up 13% Y/Y. Revenue growth was broad-based, but Parts & Services, and Finance and Insurance were stalwarts. However, if RV industry shipments keep falling it could create severe headwinds for the company.
