Social unrest and mass shootings continue to plague the United States. Another mass shooting occurred Sunday afternoon at an EA Madden Sports NFL 19 video game tournament in Jacksonville, FL. The Madden NFL tournament was broadcast live via Twitch. At least three people have been killed, including the gunman, 24 year-old David Katz, and several others injured. Apparently Katz was angry after losing a game early in the tournament.

People who were at the Madden tournament and survived the shooting said the shooter was David Katz aka Ravenschamp and Bread. He was mad cause he lost a game early in the tournament. pic.twitter.com/tqqdFKwUwn

The entire episode sounds rather senseless, and premeditated. Why would anyone bring a gun to a video game tournament unless he was planning to use it? Now people have lost their lives for no reason at the hands of someone who became unhinged.
