Lavar Ball of Big Baller Brand just escalated his public relations war with President Trump. Thursday Lavar released a cartoon of him, in Big Baller gear, dunking on the president:

The hashtags from Lavar were #TheTrumpDunk and #StayInYourLane … The video shows Lavar. Trump attempts to meet Ball at the rim. Ball practically “groins” the president – testicles in his face – knocking Trump to the floor. Trump then shows a smart phone with the message – “Stay in your lane.”
The saying was popularized by Ball during an interview with Colin Cowherd on Fox Sports News The Herd. Kristine Leahy accused Lavar of abusing his kids by making them play basketball. She intimated he was an overbearing father, and was taking money from Lonzo Ball by forcing spurn a Nike contract and wear the ZO2 from Big Baller Brand.
Tete-A-Tete With Trump
Ball’s tete-a-tete with Trump is one of the more bizarre stories you will ever hear. A month ago UCLA basketball players LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley were caught shoplifting in during a basketball trip to China. They faced five – ten years in prison before President Trump negotiated with China’s president Xi Jinping to release the boys. The kids apologized for their actions, and thanked the president for his diplomacy. Lavar Ball, however, never thanked President Trump. he even downplayed Trump’s role, and the president was Salt Lake City about it. He suggested that he should have left them in jail.
The tete-a-tete landed Ball 25 minute interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo on the matter. Again Ball downplayed the president’s role and refused to thank Trump. Big Baller apparently had boots on the ground in China and was totally abreast of the goings on with “The Chinese 3.” Pursuant to LiAngelo’s behavior, Lavar suggested that Trump “stay in your lane.” He later promised to sent Trump a pair of ZO2s and assorted Big Baller gear to loosen Trump up.
Trump then clapped back by calling Lavar a broke Don King:
It wasn’t the White House, it wasn’t the State Department, it wasn’t Lavar’s so-called people on the ground in China that got his son out of a long term prison sentence – it was me. Too bad! Lavar is a poor man’s version of Don King, but with without the hair.
The “Trump Dunk” video is the latest salvo in the cold war between Lavar and President Trump. These are two of the biggest trash talkers and self-promoters in U.S. history. The Shock Exchange doubts it will end anytime soon. Trump … your go …
On Trump And The Global Economy
The second installment of Trump And The Global Economy Town Hall took place October 24th in Fort Greene. It Featured Professor Lance Brofman, Coconut Rob (Coconut Rob Smoothies), Wuyi Jacobs (AfroBeats Radio) and Ralph Baker, author of Shock Exchange: How Inner-City Kids From Brooklyn Predicted the Great Recession and the Pain Ahead.
The event was well-received by the community. We parsed through President Trump’s proposed tax plan and [i] how it was pure economic folly and [ii] high net worth individuals could potentially game the system by shifting income around. Apparently, Kansas Coach Bill Self did this when the state of Kansas cut taxes in the past. We discussed the pros and cons of technology on workers and the economy. How will the economy and country prosper under Trump’s leadership vis-a-vis Obama? What’s behind the verbal sparring with black athletes, ESPN’s Jemele Hill and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un?
